Crucible Therapy Practicum

May 25-29, 2027

Wichita, Kansas

Presented by: Lacy Stump, M.S., LCMFT

This practicum will offer participants a more in depth look at their own self of the therapist issues, including blind spots, co-construction errors and issues with gaining traction that are specific to them and their life experiences. Each participant is required to submit their own case material in order for the trainer to get a more accurate view of their unique challenges. Participants can expect to leave with a better understanding of what is currently holding them back in their clinical work.

  • Improve their ability to see their cases and clients more clearly

  • Learn specific skills for handling difficult cases

  • Improve their ability to engage in a collaborative alliance and make more meaningful contact with clients

  • Practice “in the chair” as the therapist to work through their difficulties in real time

  • Connect with their peers in the Crucible community
